| Physical Description | Taqqiq Allooloo is a starfighter pilot who carries herself with the compact, practical bearing of someone accustomed to Arctic weather and the claustrophobic confines of a cockpit. Being an Inuit woman from Pond Inlet, Nunavut, she has the typical jet-black hair which is kept in a tight chignon while on duty and warm chestnut brown eyes that appear (sometimes deceivingly) warm. She maintains herself in very good physical condition, partly from the demands of flight duty and partly because she feels driven to set a good example for the junior starfighter pilots. In uniform she presents a neat, professional appearance. |

| General Overview | Taqqiq is disciplined, direct, and quietly protective of the people under her command--and likewise her peers. She has little patience for unnecessary foolishness and can become sharp-tongued when frustrated, particularly when she believes her pilots are being placed in needless danger. Beneath that severity is a dry sense of humour and considerable affection for her pilots, with whom she finds enough comfort in to tolerate--and occasionally return--their teasing. She trusts the chain of command even if she might disagree with an order, understanding that the officers on the bridge usually possess information unavailable to the fighter pilots in the field. On a more personal note, she feels things deeply and sometimes has difficulty separating her emotions from her sense of responsibility, especially when one of her pilots is hurt or worse. |

| Hobbies & Interests | Taqqiq enjoys activities that give her a chance to slow down and do a complete 180-degree turn from the intensity of flight operations. She has a particular fondness for oil painting, and can become lost in that pursuit for hours at a time. She strongly believes in her heritage and as such, is considered a top-notch storyteller that is often infused with dark humour, philosophical reflections, and irreverent humour. She spends a great deal of time with her Starfighter Wing peers, participating in games and social activities that usually involve the consumption of synthehol. Overall, her recreational interests are generally uncomplicated; after a day spent piloting a starfighter, she has little desire to make her free time complicated as well. |
